Being the most northerly resort in the French Alps, it has its own unique climate. In Summer, warm and sunny days in which to enjoy long alpine walks, mountain climbing, abundant wild flowers and stunning scenery. All sorts of river and lake pursuits. A wide range of mountain bike trails, for all you adrenaline junkies parepenting (paragliding) and the ride of a lifetime on the Fantasticable accross the mountains at Pre la Joux.
In the winter, good snow conditions. Our skiing season lasts from early December until the end of April. With 650kms of prepared piste and lots of exciting off-piste to keep any skier and snow boarder happy.
