Your hosts Stefan & Samantha Wilson welcome you to the picturesque alpine ski area of Chatel in the Portes du Soleil. Being the most northerly resort in the French Alps, it has its own unique climate. Giving in the winter, good snow conditions, in which usually the skiing season lasts from early December until the end of April, with 650kms of prepared piste and lots of exciting off-piste to keep any skier and snow boarder happy. In Summer, warm and sunny days in which to enjoy long alpine walks, mountain climbing, abundant wild flowers and stunning scenery, a wide range of mountain bike trails and all sorts of river and lake pursuits.
