THE SKIING
This winter your skiing holiday in France should start in the Portes du Soleil (the
shortest transfer time from Geneva airport to the French Alps) which has 650kms of on-piste skiing as well as some fantastic off-piste. Skiing & snow boarding with a guide means
you will find the best conditions from the best off-piste powder to tours around the area, and for the more adventurous why not try a day of extreme skiing or helicopter skiing in
Switzerland. Cross country skiers have the most beautiful courses to explore, starting close to the village. You can keep up to date with conditions on our WEBCAM page. Now is a good time to book your skiing holiday in France with SW Alpine Holidays

On arrival we will take you to the ski hire to get you kitted out with the best equipment to
suit your standard of skiing or snow boarding, the shop staff speak English so there is no problem getting what you need. From there we will get to the slopes and explore the vast ski
area Portes du Soleil. Ski Passes will be arranged for you, we recommend full PDS passes for all but first time skiers, so you are not limited to how far
you can explore. |

Lunchtime on the slopes we try to get everyone together for a quick hearty lunch or full
restaurant fayre, the choice is yours. Our host knows the best places to suit the occasion or in which area we are exploring.
For anyone wanting to brush up their skills or are first time skiers we can arrange ski lessons either with the local ski school or private tuition to advance you quickly. |
Have you ever stood at the top of a lift wondering which way to go, the ski map can be
confusing . Well skiing with us means you don't have to. Our Ski Host "guide" has been skiing in this area for many years
and knows all the routes and will put together a planned full days skiing, whether it is a day of off-piste, tours into Switzerland, a day out to Les Gets or experiencing the "Coupe
du Mond" ladies downhill course.
Our ski host service available 3 days per week, is for intermediate + level skiers / snow boarder's. Beginners are recommended to join one of the ski schools and our host/guide is not a
teacher.
